Summary

Official (updated Oct 23 12:30): update to fixed versions complete on the rental server plans (PHP 7.4, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5). For managed dedicated, shared and WordPress dedicated plans a permanent fix is still being worked out, with no date. No attacks or leaks confirmed. The notice does not say whether the displayed version changes. A separate status notice (as of Oct 23 18:17) shows services running but most control panels stopped.

Customer action:

Rental server plans: no action. Managed dedicated, shared and WordPress dedicated plans: until a permanent fix is announced, consider a maintenance page or an .htaccess access restriction under public_html. FLEX: OS and middleware are customer-managed, so check and update PHP yourself.
