Summary

Akamai status advisory (posted Oct 21, resolved Oct 23, postmortem Oct 29): global WAF mitigation rules on Oct 21; on Oct 23 Akamai said its assessment and mitigation of its own platform were complete. Cloud Infrastructure speed tests stay offline for now. The Oct 29 postmortem says Marketplace templates were updated so new deployments use patched PHP packages, but existing customer-managed instances running vulnerable PHP need the customer to apply the official upstream updates. The investigation is ongoing. No fixed version numbers given.
