Summary
Official (dedicated notice naming the CVEs, dated Oct 21): on Star Rental Server and the Star Domain free server, mitigations were in place by 12:00 on Oct 21 and the fix reached all target servers for PHP 7.2-8.5 by 14:00 on Oct 22. PHP 8.2-8.5 were updated to the fixed release of the same branch; 7.2-8.1 were patched without changing the version. The PHP 5.1-7.1 timings in the earlier notice are not in the current one.
Customer action:
No urgent PHP version change is needed for this fix, though the vendor may announce extra steps depending on usage. PHP 8.1 and older are out of upstream support, so plan a move to 8.3+ after a backup and test.
